Extraordinary Conversations: Members of the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity discuss the opportunity to drive more diversity and inclusion in the financial services industry

Nationwide joined forces with industry partners and Historically Black Colleges and Universities to launch the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE) in 2020 to address the opportunity to drive more diversity in financial services.  Nationwide Financial President, John Carter recently hosted a conversation with members of the Alliance, including Kristi Rodriguez, Senior Vice President of the Nationwide Retirement Institute, Wes Thompson, President of M Financial, and Dr. Elwood Robinson, Chancellor of Winston Salem State University. In this discussion, the group addresses topics such as opportunities for the industry to become more inclusive, the Alliance’s approach to addressing this opportunity and why Black students should consider a financial services career path.
