Where does the bear market go next?
After a weak quarter for stocks and bonds, what’s next for the future direction of the market?
So far, this year hasn’t been kind to investors. The first quarter was characterized by elevated volatility, driven by multiple issues, including persistent inflation, rampant supply chain issues, labor market shortages, and geopolitical conflict. As the Federal Reserve tightens its monetary policy, fears of a recession grow stronger. That said, there is nothing showing a recession occurring in the near term.
