Cycle Watch October 2021: U.S. economy braces for headwinds
Investor concerns surrounding interest rates continues to grow with some economists recently predicting a 10-year yield above 2.0% by the middle of 2022. Rising prices and supply shortages have contributed to a moderate slowdown in consumer spending. However, the demand for goods and services has remained strong and expectations are that concerns from business owners surrounding labor shortages should diminish as COVID concerns fade and higher wages draw more people back to the workforce.
